Based in San Diego, California and formed in 2005, the Council for Teaching Filipino Language and Culture (CTFLC) is a professional organization that works towards the advancement of the Filipino language and culture programs globally, especially in places where there is a heavy concentration of Filipino nationals.

CTFLC has gone a long way since its inception. Professionalism, love, passion, commitment and dedication to the students and the community, coupled by the determination to succeed in every undertaking and adhering to its educational mission, have been the guiding principles of the organization.
